In Key Largo for 5 days, and dinner here was so good on the first night that we went back on our last night. Best 2 dinners of the trip, and it wasn't even close.

Great wood-fired pizzas and the happy hour deal is ridiculous - a pitcher and a pizza (basic cheese) for $10. You can upgrade both as you like but that deal is almost too good to be true.

Meatball and ricotta pizza = great.

Asked the bartender for a recommendation for our return dinner and got the lasagne short ribs with spicy marinara = not quite as great but still very good.

      Wood-fired pork belly = ridiculous

Wood-fired chicken thighs = almost as ridiculous

      Highly recommend.

A nice little pizza stop not too far from our hotel! My friend really likes pizza so we gave it a go.

Inside ambiance is very roomy; there's a bar area with plentiful wooden tables for seating. We were placed at the bar & the bartenders were very nice & accommodating.

I tried the BBQ pizza - definitely had a great fresh taste, and the spice level was just right. Very flavorful, and the bbq sauce wasn't too sweet which I really appreciate. Two nitpicks would be I would've liked more chicken, and the bottom was a bit more burnt than my preference. But overall, worth a stop when you're in town for a nice slice!

      PROS:
      - roomy interior with bar and table seating
      - very friendly service
      - food came out in a timely manner
      - pizza tasted fresh & flavorful

      CONS:
      - pizza was slightly more burnt than I usually prefer; toppings portions could also be more balanced

Had a great dinner here with my friends. The restaurant had great vibes when we walked in - lots of holiday decorations, super friendly staff, and good relaxing ambiance.

We ordered a salad, two pizzas, and a side of chicken thighs. The Carne Calabrese wood fired pizza was delicious. The Venice pizza was a bit salty for my personal taste. Overall, I really liked the flavor of the pizza dough, as it was slightly salty and bitter from the oven. Really liked the fresh pizzas out of the oven!

However, my favourite was definitely the chicken thighs. The flavor of the thighs change so you have to ask the staff, but when we were there the flavor was bbq persimmon. I thought it was super unique so we decided to try it. Turns out it was delicious!! The thighs were so juicy and the sauce was slightly sweet and tangy with a fruity after-taste. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to drop by if you're in key largo!

I visited C & C because I read on their website about the $10 pizza and beer pitcher during happy hour. What's not to like? There's also a $15 with a carafe of wine version. But when arrived, I discovered there's more to the story. I liken their promotion to that of an internet service provider offering high speed internet for $20/mo only to find out any decent plan will cost you at least double when you know all the facts. That's annoying and a little bit of a bait and switch. I asked the bartender what beer options were available, but she didn't single out beers for that promotion. Funny thing is, she did show me which wines were available for the promotion. I said I was there for the promotion but later she said I never said that and that I didn't "ask the right questions". That's kind of your job, though, to explain the promotions, isn't it? I ended up being charged extra for the beer I selected. But this is the inherent problem -- the bartenders & servers don't want you to spend as little as possible and will encourage you to increase your bill. As we've learned the last few years throughout the pandemic, most people don't say anything and merely follow along. Most will not say anything when they receive a bill and get a $5 upcharge for the beer they thought was included in the promotion but I did because that's how I roll. And I try to do so politely, at least at first. But boy did this turn into an ugly argument with the guy next to me feeling the need to impolitely interject into my conversation with the bartender.

This is the deal -- if it's $10 for pizza and beer -- put an asterisk (*) next to pizza and somewhere write *cheese only, additional toppings extra. If it's only ONE type of beer, use two asterisks (**) and write somewhere ** fizzy yellow boring Lager only. What this does is manage customer expectations and not tick them off when they arrive and feel like they're dealing with a slimy internet service provider and being upcharged for everything.

And your manager sucks. He should have immediately offered to remove the upcharge for the beer rather than the bartender and me bickering back and forth and then allowing another customer to chime in which escalated the situation even further. Again, your employees and customers have opposing goals -- you have to keep that in mind and urge staff to be crystal clear when there's a happy hour or special promotion so as to avoid the $hit show this turned into.

And let me be clear, the pitcher was still half full when the bartender huffed and puffed and yanked it and the glass from the bar in front of me because she was so angry. This means I had about two beers at 5.1% ABV while eating 2/3 of the pizza. I'm 5'6" and about 145 lbs so I was not inebriated as any response may attempt to suggest.

By the way, after I was asked to leave, a man approached me at my vehicle who had left behind me. He was sitting at the end of the bar alone while I was inside. He didn't speak English well (but I speak Spanish) and told me "tenias razon" -- "you were right". He also said it was very confusing. He apologized and said they were wrong and they shouldn't have done that. So there, proof positive customers generally don't say anything but grumble to themselves afterwards and may or may not return as a result.

It wasn't a bad deal even with the upcharge, but I'm about principle and being forthright and a promotion where literally 1 out of 100 will be inclined to follow it to the letter is just an annoying ploy to drive business and potentially alienate customers.

Please credit me back the upcharge or I'll ask my credit card company to do it.

EDIT after message from owner: I received a private message from owner(s) that came across as pretty aggressive. They wanted to have "an adult conversation" while simultaneously insulting me by calling my behavior "belligerent". Based on previous responses here on Yelp, it seems to be the MO to attack the customer as opposed to de-escalation and resolution of a bad experience. Here's a part of the response -- "If you feel that we were in the wrong in any way, we are in this business to make money on hidden fees as you state". I don't understand the first part, but I'm glad they do admit their tactics are to rack up their customers' tabs using unscrupulous methods.

Stopped in hoping to have a few drinks at the bar, then order pizzas to go. Host was rude, and you are not allowed to have drinks at the bar unless you are dining there. We were told to order at the service bar. We ordered a drink and attempted to sit at the bar- we were told by the bartender and host that it was prohibited. If ordering take out you are not allowed to sit.

Unfortunately we had already ordered the take out or we would have left. The staff admitted to us it is the owners rules and they watch on camera to ensure they are following the rules. The staff said it is not a great working environment, but they have to enforce it.

The bar was not full, and they could have sold us more drinks had they allowed it.

I will never return (even though the food was decent).

What a wonderful find. I'd had this spot bookmarked and I'm so glad we came by for dinner. It's nice to have an option that's not seafood --- although I love fish, etc. -- and this restaurant hit the spot.

Reading the reviews, I saw that they had a great happy hour. We went in time for the specials, and it was not only a real bargain but absolutely delicious.

Most evenings -- you have to order by 6 pm -- they have a special of a pizza and a pitcher of beer for only $10. If you want to upgrade to one of their select list of wines instead of the beer, it's only $5 more. In addition, you can add toppings to your pizza for a fee. They list the toppings and prices on the menu.

Some folks were getting a pizza per person, but we opted for a pizza with added mushrooms. Plus a carafe of the sauvignon blanc wine. The pizza is made in a wood fired oven. It's a high heat and cooks fairly fast. I like well done pizza, so it was nice to have a bit of a char on the crust. And the mushrooms were real not canned, too. The wine had about 3 glasses in the container, well worth $5.

Service was quite good. We sat at the bar. I asked about the name of the restaurant and learned the C & C was originally for cork and curds. It was a former wine and cheese shop that converted into a restaurant. The ambiance was friendly and local. The couple sitting next to us at the bar told us they came here every Friday night for dinner. They get two pizzas and take the leftovers home.

So glad we tried this place. This one is a definite keeper!

We went to eat close to 8 pm on a Saturday. No seats and 30 min wait. There were 3 seats at the bar and we took them. I ordered the rocket salad and the Zaza pizza and roasted peppers. I had a glass of beer on tap. My friends started with potato boats with cheese curds and some kind if meat. They had the Cesar salad and carne pizza. My friend's husband had two beers served in cans. Bartender was hilarious and servir was pretty good! Very small, and playing loud music and have to talk loud. But it was a good experience.

This has become one of my favorite spots in the keys! It's is a hidden gem. It was one of the nicer places I have been to in the keys. Great ambiance. They have a large selection of wine. I got a truffle oil pizza with prosciutto and ricotta. It was sooo yummy! My boyfriend got the short rib lasagna and we loved it as well. I always look at yelp for options to eat and this place is definitely worth stopping at. Our waitress Lexie was so attentive and made sure we were well taken care of! She was very sweet and patient.
      Can't wait to go back.

What a surprise! We were staying in the KeyLargo Inn (right next door) and could smell the deliciousness emanating from this place. The smells didn't lie...we went back here twice in the two short days we were here. Tasty brews on tap (or cans) and some really tasty pie. Wood fired so has that nice seared crust to go along with ample and fresh toppings!

We ordered the meat pizza. It came out burn. They were very nice to redo it. The second time still burn at the bottom so it tastes bitter. The pizza is good. I like the place very chill. The service was good. I just think the fire quite strong so it burned the bottom of the pizza. We also got the affogato for dessert. It was ok. My husband loved the music.
